How Group Leaders Can Utilize The Church App

Utilize your Group in the church app to communicate with our members in your ministry:
Announcements, Reminders, Prayers, Encouragement, Notices
However, it is not a replacement for meeting in-person!

Messaging

5 steps to communicate with your Group from your mobile device

1. Messaging

Open the app and select the "Messaging" icon

2. Group

Select your Group

3. Type

Select the "Message" box and begin typing!

4. Extras

Add photos or other tools by selecting the "+" icon

5. Pictures & Tools

Recent photos are at the top or add using the gray box. Or select a tool.
Submit prayers at lobc.me/prayer

Adding Members

6 steps to add members to your Group from your mobile device

1. Messaging

Open the app and select the "Messaging" icon.

2. Group

Select your Group

3. Settings

Select the Group icon to enter settings

4. Members

Select the "Members" option

5. Add

Select "Add people"

6. Search

Start typing your new member's name or email address. If in your contacts, they will appear - select them. If not, enter their full email address and select "Add"

Clear Cache

If a user experiences app issues, first clear the cache.

1. Messaging

Select the "Messaging" icon

2. Settings

Select the "Settings" gear icon

3. Clear

Select "Clear all app data". If clearing the cache does not resolve the issue, uninstall the app and reinstall from the app store

Notifications

 Ensure notifications are ON!

1. Profile

Select the "Profile" icon.
(You can change your picture, too!)

2. Notifications

Scroll down to select "Notifications"
or access past notifications
